Excursion Trip project to promote the curriculum at Buddhadasa Indapanno Archives (BIA), Bangkok and Mahavihara Tipitaka Marble, Pay Homage to Buddha Image-Prathan Buddha Monthon Nakornpatham of the B.A. Student’s ,(IBSC).
Organized by Bachelor of Arts Program in Buddhist Studies of International Buddhist Studies College, MCU.
This Extracurricular Activity Led by instructor of Program and Program coordinator from (IBSC), Took students to study field trip within excursion trip project to promote curriculum which has objectives and including:
• Enhancing the Bachelor of Arts Program in Buddhist Studies (International Program)
• Enabling students to broaden their academic knowledge and develop insights through off-campus study experiences
• Applying the knowledge gained from off-campus study to personal development within the framework of the Four Noble Truths, including mindfulness and integration with modern sciences.
During the visit, students attended lectures, studied the fundamental principles of Buddhist teachings, meditation, wisdom, and tranquility at the Letter of Remark Hall, Moak Garden, Bodhisattva Vihara, which serves as a serene place and embodies the path to inner peace and spiritual development. They also visited the Mahavihara Tipitaka Marble to study the origin and significance of the Tripitaka, which correlates with the Tipitaka Studies course. Furthermore, they performed religious rituals at the Buddha Image-Prathan Buddha Monthon.
Additionally, they explored and performed rituals at the historic pagoda that symbolizes the dissemination of Buddhism in Thailand, enhancing their understanding of Buddhist teachings. This experience enabled students to apply Buddhist principles to their lives and become graduates capable of serving society by sharing their knowledge and moral values.
