IBSC MCU organized a two-day workshop on Outcome-Based Education Curriculum Training

The International Buddhist Studies College of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University recently organized a two-day workshop on Outcome-Based Education Curriculum Training for Lecturers. Led by Prof. Dr. Phrakrupalad Paññavoravat (Hansa Dhammahaso), the workshop aimed to equip lecturers from both the Peace Studies Program and Buddhist Studies Program with the necessary knowledge and skills to develop and implement outcome-based curricula.

The workshop took place on 10-11 April 2023 at the Sammapanna Meeting room. It covered a wide range of topics related to outcome-based education, including understanding the principles of OBE, developing clear and measurable learning outcomes, designing effective learning experiences, and assessing student learning.

The training provided participating lecturers with a unique opportunity to enhance their professional development and improve the quality of education provided to their students. By equipping lecturers with the necessary tools and skills to design and implement outcome-based curricula, the workshop is likely to have a positive impact on the academic and professional development of students in both the Peace Studies Program and the Buddhist Studies Program.

Overall, the International Buddhist Studies College's efforts to organize this workshop demonstrate its commitment to providing high-quality education and training to its students, and to continuously improving the quality of education it provides. The workshop is likely to have been a valuable experience for participating lecturers, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on their teaching and their student's learning outcomes.
