Special Lecture on Guanyin Bodhisattva in Japan Successfully Concluded

The special lecture "Guanyin Bodhisattva in Japan" has successfully concluded today, February 25, 2025. The event, which ran from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the International Buddhist Studies Centre (IBSC) in Thailand, featured insights from Associate Professor Dr. G Clinton Godart from Tohoku University's Department of Global Japanese Studies.


The lecture was part of academic courses on Buddhism and sustainable development, serving students enrolled in the "Operational Buddhism for Sustainable Development Goals (Ph.D.)" and "Buddhism and Sustainable Development (M.A.)" programs within IBSC's Buddhist Studies International Program.

The event took place as scheduled in the I-mind meeting room on the 2nd floor of the Buddhagosacara Building at IBSC, Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University (MCU) in Wang Noi, Ayutthaya, Thailand.
