On May 20, 2024, the Moral Promotion Center (Public Organization) signed an MoU with Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University (MCU),. And International Buddhist Studies College signed with Faculty of Liberal Arts, Thammasat University)., The signing was led by Prof. Dr. Phra Thamwatcharabundit, Rector of MCU, and Associate Professor Dr. Suriyadev Tripathi, Director of the Moral Promotion Center, and International Buddhist studies college signing led by Prof. Dr. Phra Medhivajarapundit director of IBSC signed within Faculty of Liberal Arts, Thammasat University) led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Psssapong Srippicharn.,Dean of Faculty of Liberal Arts, Thammasat University).
At the Meeting Room F, United Nations Conference Centre,Bangkok. The witnesses included Phra Prof. Dr. Medhivajarapundit, Director of the International Buddhist Studies College, and Ms. Priyaporn Phulsri, Manager of the Office of Knowledge Innovation and Information Development.
This signing reflects the recognition of both institutions of the importance of academic development in the humanities, social sciences, and behavioral sciences. Such development is essential for the propagation of Buddhism, as well as for educational exchange and cooperation in academic and practical aspects of Buddhism. It also involves the development of tools for measuring intelligence and morality, which will lead to broader understanding and widespread propagation of Buddhism, ultimately benefiting society. Additionally, Associate Professor Dr. Suriyadev Tripathi has also been appointed as a Special Lecturer at the International Buddhist Studies College of MCU.
