Excursion Trip Project to promote programs of international Buddhist studies college, MCU,.
Organized by Bachelor of Arts in Buddhist Studies program, Specializing in the subject of Buddhist Philosophy, led by Dr. Nguyen Ahn Tuan, lecturer of IBSC.
-Took 40 first-year students on a field trip to study outside the classroom at the Buddhapanya Temple.
-The objectives were to promote the curriculum under the subject of Early Buddhism, integrate knowledge gained in the classroom into real-world learning, and study the heritage and meditation sites that are peaceful and natural.
- Students attended lectures by knowledgeable speakers at various significant locations and practiced meditation at a simulated Buddhist monastery modeled after those in India.
They also viewed three-dimensional depictions of moral teachings, particularly the Four Noble Truths. This enhanced their understanding beyond classroom learning, emphasizing the importance of deepening their understanding of Buddhist teachings. Additionally, it equipped them to apply Buddhist principles and the wisdom of most venerable.Paṇānanda in their lives, becoming graduates capable of serving society by sharing knowledge and disseminating moral principles for the benefit of the community.
